The Joy of Small Things (SS21)

Welcome to “The Joy of Small Things”, my s/s 2021 collection.

What a year we had, eh? It is hard to believe what has been happening since March 2020... a lot to think about, a lot to reconsider, and a lot to be grateful for. 

The inspiration for this collection comes from my appreciation for the essential, the simplicity, the humble: after a year of restrictions, I rediscovered beauty everywhere, in small gestures, simple pleasures, little things that I didn’t pay much attention to before.

I decided to express all of that here, choosing only humble and simple materials, like twisted Toyo paper, cotton and linen to make all my hats, to show that an entire couture collection doesn’t necessarily need silks and fancy straws to be beautiful.
